cows milling around on the road again?

Any truth to the rumor cows strolling Mill Creek road again? Planning to arrive austin a couple days before ACL - quite a lineup if it pans out - and stay the following week at dripping. FYI - instead of muzak, our anchorage home depot plays Grateful Dead over the store sound system - well, actually playing Bob Weir's "Ace" album when I was there Friday...crazy.

Yes, cows were milling on Mill Creek 2 weeks ago. Looks like they went from Back 40 pasture to Sandy Creek # 2, to Sandy Creek No. 1, to the Weidner triangle through the other short side of the triangle we did not rebuilt that adjoins Sandy Creek No.1 to freedom. Dean and Kyle worked last week repairing fence between the Back 40 pasture and the Power Line ROW and Sandy Creek No. 2. Blow down trees where a problem. Next in line for work is the fence between Sandy Creek 1 & 2. We were really disappointed in those cows.

We gave them a good talkin' to, too!

Still shopping for tractors, but the budget is a major problem.

Dan removed the bull on April 11 and we sold No 109 as she did not have a calf and she gives Rusty and Mark a hard time when she's penned.

Forgot to post that Little House, Plum Patch and North Half of Heifer Pastures were fertilized last week. since we have so much hay left over we are cutting back on production this year.
